Primary references and the limits of this educational collection.
Primary references
- Khronos: 3D Commerce Viewer Certification Program — The program certifies viewers against its rendering requirements; a viewer claim has a different object from an individual garment asset.
- Khronos: glTF Material Variants — The extension represents material combinations mapped to primitives; it does not itself specify garment sizing or a change of geometry.
- Apple: Quick Look Documentation — Quick Look previews files, including specified augmented-reality USDZ objects; a preview is not evidence of garment fit.
- Apple: Quick Look Gallery — Apple provides examples of viewing virtual objects in 3D; the gallery does not certify a digital garment for avatar use.
- Khronos: KTX Artist Guide — Compressed delivery textures and the relevant renderer support, not an editable source-project guarantee.
- Khronos: glTF 2.0 Specification — Required and used extension lists, asset metadata and format structure; support claims remain implementation-specific.
- Blender: Cloth Cache — Cloth simulation can be computed for a frame range and cached; no current UI tutorial is provided here.
- Blender: Cloth Physical Properties — Simulation has settings including stiffness and damping; settings are not automatically measurements of a particular real textile.
- Smithsonian: Reflected Infrared and 3D Imaging — Object digitization can document geometry and texture; this is not a claim that a specific garment was scanned.
- London Charter: Principles — Heritage visualization research sources and interpretative methods should be documented for evaluation.
- The Met: Open Access — The initiative releases qualifying public-domain artwork images and basic collection data under CC0, not every possible file on every museum site.
- Roblox: Marketplace Policy — Upload, publishing and continuing on-sale requirements are separate current policy categories; no fee or eligibility shortcut is promised.
- US Copyright Office: AI Report Part 2 — The January 2025 report distinguishes human expressive contribution from prompts alone; no individual legal determination is made.
- Roblox Dictionary — The platform defines virtual-content categories and use terms; sale scarcity does not independently supply external-file rights.
- Roblox: Updating Terms of Use — A dated terms-update document is distinct from assumed current universal rules; verify relevant regional and effective text.
- FTC: Evaluating Online Reviews — Source and incentive context matter when interpreting endorsements and testimonials; not proof of a particular sponsorship.
- CFDA: RUNWAY360 Launch Announcement — A historical announcement describes several digital collection-launch media and functions; not evidence of current event access.
- FTC: Endorsement Guides Questions — Material commercial connections and endorsements require appropriate context; this site makes no individual legal finding.
- British Fashion Council: June 2020 Digital Line-up — A historical primary line-up distinguishes films, collaborations, rendered collections and other formats; not a current calendar.
